Nursery Menu

We employ fully qualified cooks and all meals are home prepared at each nursery. Menus change on a weekly basis with a typical selection shown below.

• Morning: range of breakfast cereals, toast and milk.
• Mid Morning: water and snack menu.
• Lunch: a home cooked meal including dessert and juice or water.
• Mid Afternoon: water and snack menu.
• Tea: Tea menu and water.

Please note: children under 6 months have a special weaning plan.

Example winter menu for children over 12 months

Monday	Spaghetti bolognese, sponge and custard	Cheese scones and fresh fruit
Tuesday	Stew and dumplings, yoghurts	Chicken sandwiches, biscuits
Wednesday	Winter vegetable pie, macaroni pudding	Cheese and tomato on toast, buns
Thursday	Pork and apple with cous cous, jam tarts	Jacket potato with beans, jelly
Friday	Chilli and rice, bakewell tart	Spaghetti on toast, fruit

Example winter menu for babies 6-12 months

Monday	Spaghetti bolognese, rice pudding	Cheesy potatoes, fresh fruit
Tuesday	Stew and dumplings, baby yoghurts	Soup and bread, fruity semolina
Wednesday	Winter vegetables in a creamy sauce, macaroni pudding	Lam hot pot, pears and apples
Thursday	Pork and apple with cous cous, fruity custard
Friday	Savoury mince and rice, fruity custard	Lentil and tomato bake, baby yoghurts
